My father-in-law, Robert (Bud) H. Starkey, got me interested in genealogy around the year 2000. Our common roots were about all we could discuss without disagreeing. Bud passed away in 2005. He left me his GEDCOM and as a tribute to him, I've carried on his work. And added my side of the family to his work. I have also expanded some of his branches.

This is a picture of my son, Sam. He helps me find each marker. In fact, he's better at finding them than I am. (He gets a kick out of that.)

Sam and I spend most of our Find A Grave time at cemeteries in Roane County, Tennessee.

I would be more than happy to transfer any memorial to anyone that has a closer connection than I to the deceased.
