I started out searching for my husband's American Indian ancestors. After discovering that line of relatives. I was hooked.
My husband is of the Cherokee Tribe. His grandfather Donald Leo Painter, was very proud of his Roll Number and his family's Indian allotment land in Ottawa County, Oklahoma. Ozier, Butler, Dawson, Graham, Painter.
I am a Tribal Member of the Citizen Potawatomi Nation. From my Grandmother's Anna Justine Higbee, side of the tree. Topinbee, Bertrand, Higbee.
