I've been working on my and my husband's family trees for over thirty years. A big part of that, of course, has always been wandering through the woods searching for abandoned graveyards. [Biggest phobia = deer hunters.] When I get frustrated I switch over to working on those of in-laws and friends, just for variety. I love to get emails or messages about the families I work on and am not at all sensitive about corrections or challenges to my interpretations.

I'm very grateful to FindAGrave for providing an opportunity to honor those who have gone before us. I'm always glad to transfer memorials to those who are more closely related to a person than I or my husband are, and of course many of my memorials are of non-relatives for whom it would be nice to find interested family.
