I leave flowers often where no one else has. Where someone was forgotten, or not yet found. I leave at the graves of babies & children and especially Veterans. I try to put a V behind the Veterans name in the USA and other countries. So if you see I have left flowers at your loved ones or ancestors, before you arrived, I may or may not be related. I've been doing this for many years and I'm probably just passing through.
