My interest in ancestry is mostly my desire to honor the dead. I am the end of my genetic line: neither I nor my sister have children and so we are it. Once you start the hobby of ancestry, it seems they start to call for you; they start appearing in your dreams. It is almost as if your ancestors want you to find them.

I encourage you to endeavor into this hobby if you have not. You will learn more about yourself than you ever learn about any particular leaf in your family tree. Weird coincidences will happen and lost family treasures will fall in your lap.
