I am what would likely be considered an amateur genealogist. In my travels, I have found the joy of finding, or seeing that picture, or gravestone, or document I would never been able to find on my own. As the family story grows, so does the desire to find those physical things that brings history to life. I hope that someday I can bring someone a little joy, such as I have found on this site!
