I believe we need to share our family history and pictures. It leaves a legacy for future generations. No ONE PERSON should keep all the family photos and information. SHARE SHARE SHARE!!
Findagrave is great forum for doing so.

I have added several hundred findagrave sites from census done by others and shared with me.
If you find errors please let me know and I will make every attempt to verify the information and correct it or transfer to you for correction.

I will almost always transfer a site unless I am more closely related to the subject than the requestor (findagrave guidelines say 4 generations) or unless it is part of a special project. ( I enter information for others and would ask them before transferring )

I am a resident of Colorado but I have many relatives in Mississippi, Yazoo, Neshoba, Warren, Hinds, Jones & Madison Counties.

I was born in Mississippi. I try to keep up with my elderly relatives. I try to copy available obituaries and will record grave information as it becomes available. I consider Findagrave a shortcut to creating family History.
