I have been working to document the Levantine Community in Istanbul, primarily focused on the Feriköy Latin Catholic Cemetery in Bomonti, Şişli District, Istanbul, and the Latin Catholic Cemetery at Uzum Çayir/Moda. This is a work in process using cemetery documents, records from multiple churches, and thousands of grave photographs that I have taken on visits to Istanbul. I'm actively uploading more images to the basic memorials I have created, and I am happy to collaborate. More to come as I sort and add to each record.
