I live close to Greenwood Cemetery in Fort Worth and make regular trips to East-Greenwood and Oakland in Weatherford and Newberry west of Weatherford. 99% of my entries are from walking the cemeteries so if I can help you look for someone or take a photo drop me a line. If I am maintaining your relative let me know and if they are not one of mine I will transfer them-include your member #. If you have correction info I will be glad to enter that. Just click on the edit button in the upper right corner of the memorial and then click the first item on the list on the next page.
For the non-gravers, if you don't already do so consider taking a year off from the lake, the beach, the park and make a Memorial Day excursion to as many cemeteries as you can fit into a day or the whole weekend. You can still pack that picnic basket and take it with you. Take a small bucket, some water, VERY mild soap (only for the granite stones) and a soft brush. Maybe even a hoe if you're visiting the smaller cemeteries. They can always use a little help. You will find it rewarding and your ancestors will be smiling.
