I am the family genealogist by default. In doing this, I have discovered dozens of cousins whom I never knew of before and made good connections with some of them. In making my discoveries, I have also noted that so much information is there just waiting to be discovered. While so many are doing the legwork that leads me to discoveries, I determined that I also could do the legwork that will lead others to their discoveries. It's so easy -- take a quiet walk in a peaceful cemetery, photographing and making notes! I can do that!

I am retired and living on Vancouver Island, British Columbia, Canada I will be exploring the island as well as making a few trips across British Columbia to the north, my specific destination being the Hazleton are, the Nass River Valley and Prince Rupert. I am also frequently in the Vancouver 'subs', ie Langley, Coquitlam, New Westminster. These are areas that I perhaps can make accessible to those of you who do not live in the area.
