Thanks to my maternal grandmother giving me some very old family photos and a booklet about my grandfather's family, I started my interest in genealogy back in the late 1970s when I was a kid.

I later joined Find A Grave back in 2011. Even if the person is not related to me, I enjoy finding and adding information or pictures to this format. I like to share so others can have access to their family information and pictures without having to pay for it. Perhaps it will spark someone's interest in pursing genealogy further. Perhaps even future generations.

By the way, did you know that Find A Grave started in 1995? Wow has it grown since then!
