I do research all edit requests I send as well as received. Please feel free to reach out if you'd like my sources for an edit request I have sent. Family trees are not a source. A last place of residence in a SSA record is NOT necessarily where a person died and not a source for a place of death. I don't mind if obituaries are added to memorials, they are often a wealth of information. If you add obituaries in photo format from newspapers to memorials that I manage please make sure they are CLEAN and CLEAR readable copies (cropping parts that are not the obituary out of the uploaded photo, no highlighting in the obituary, not blurry images) and cite your source (the news-paper and date it was published or the site you found the obituary on) in the caption section when the photo is uploaded as well as marking the photo as "other". If a person is linked to a family member, a marriage year is entered in the field on the memorial there is no need to list that person in the memorial bio. Please do not be offended if I reach out and ask for your source, my goal is accuracy. Please send sources in the notes section, do not add them in the bio section. If you send an edit request please check the memorial after the edit is processed, I often find additional information I add while researching for the edit request. Please DO NOT add screenshots of indexed records. They typically are information that is all already included on the memorial. Please DO NOT add newspaper clippings for anything that does not pertain to the persons death.
