My family hail from the North of England, mostly Lancashire and Yorkshire and I am a first generation Kiwi. My husband’s tree starts mostly in Scotland - Ayrshire, Caithness and Clackmannanshire and settled in Canterbury and Otago. The Maori branch of his tree started on Codfish Island, near Stewart Island
