I have done genealogy on and off for about 45 years. It has always interested me, and I can tell you it is so much easier now than when I started out. I have spent hours at cemeteries, libraries, and courthouses. I will say I got to visit with lots of folks this way though. It has always been fun to talk to people and do interviews. And tons of money on copies. I am in the process now of scanning all my files. It is a big job because I have large lateral file cabinet totally full.

And of course, as I go thru them, I find something I missed on someone and go down the rabbit hole. So, it is taking longer than I thought it would.
