My name is Jonathan and I'm from Oklahoma. Born in Edmond, Oklahoma on May 15, 1992, and I lived there for the first few years of my life before my family and I moved to Moore, Oklahoma sometime in 1997. I primarily grew up in Moore but I also did some growing up in Guymon, Oklahoma at the same time as I spent several months there every year (mostly during the holidays) visiting family for most of my life.
I've been researching my ancestry off-and-on since 2009. I try to focus only on creating memorials of family but as you can see in my list of memorials, not all of them are family.
On my paternal side I descend from the
LEE, BONE, MALLARD, WAITE, ADAMS, NEEL, BROWN, BROWDER,
family lines.
On my maternal side I descend from the
SCATES, DOBBS, CAUDLE, SEATON, MURRAY, KIMMEL, SNOW, TOWER,
family lines.
I'm a distant cousin to Winston Churchill on the maternal side of my family through the "Murray" line.
I share the same initials and middle name as my paternal Great-Grandfather, Jack "J.R." Riley Lee.
Been slowly adding bio's for some of the memorials that I manage that don't have an obituary anywhere online. Doing my best to write them in the style of your typical obituary though just so people can know the person a bit better.
My profile pic was taken at Hugo Lake in Hugo, Oklahoma when I stayed at one of the lakeside log cabins there in August 2012. It's a beautiful place and I encourage everyone to visit there if you are or will be in Oklahoma at some point in the future.
