My grandfathers Kissner and Purrington were instrumental in my interest in genealogy. I was farm kid in SW Minnesota and my adult life has been spent in the Minneapolis MN area. I do genealogy traveling and have visited the countries and villages of the family. This has taken me to Falster Denmark, Ratschin Prussia - now Raczyn Poland, Tiverton England, Selbu Norway, Switzerland and many places in the US.
