The only memorials that I manage are my family. When I walk cemeteries, and add others memorials, I transfer them to someone who is family or likes to take care of many memorials.

I have used FindaGrave.com for many years, I didn't join until 2011, and I have mainly used it as a source for genealogical research. But lately, as I get older, I want to put my families together, well at least digitally. And so before I too pass, I want to share photos, documents and other scanned items so that they don't end up in an antique store as a curiosity with no family ties or worse, the trash bin!

Please if you take personal photos or documents, give credit as to where you found them.

Please do not add extra photos of headstones. No one needs to have more than necessary to show the stone from all angles. But some individuals seem to like to mark memorials just by leaving another photo because they just happened to take one and must put it somewhere. If there are already good photos showing the headstone for that memorial, just delete the one you made and move on to a memorial that does need a photo. We are limited to 20 photos, so don't waste the space by adding an unnecessary photo.

For the memorials that I did not create, thanks to those individuals that have taken their time to enter my family, take care of their memorial and then graciously transferred them to me.
