I live in Cheatham County, Tennessee just outside of Nashville. I started getting interested in ancestry and doing the research on my relatives as well as my wife's family. Most of her family is local and fairly easy to research. I was born in Memphis. My Dad was born there also, but Mom was born in Parsons. Finding graves of ancesters is a challenge and Find A Grave has made it easier to do research on some people I could not find.
I have taken an interest in the local cemeteries and trying to get as many added to the list that I can. If you see someone that I manage that is a relative of yours and would like me to transfer the memorial, please let me know. Now if the person is a relative of mine, I may or may not transfer, but will consider.
I heard a quote one time that Family and Friends only die at the point we forget them. May we never get to that point where our Family and Friends really die.
