I am the current president of the Mecca Township Historical Society of Ohio . As a lifelong resident, my key cemeteries of focus are East Mecca, West Mecca, and Hillside (in Cortland). I've also completed extensive photography and transcribing work in North View in Gustavus as well as Old Gustavus Cemetery, Brownwood in North Bloomfield, Sager Memorial in Bristolville, and Greenlawn and South Cemeteries in Greene. I am a descendant of the Armstrongs, Guys, Polings, McNinchs, Winans, Spencers, Winters, Harrises, and Donstons.

I originally joined Find A Grave to locate the graves of my ancestors, but I've since endeavored to help others locate their loved ones as well. I've photographed graves and added as many memorials from local cemeteries as possible. If you find your relative among my list of managed memorials, please don't hesitate to ask me to add additional information, link family members, or even transfer the memorial into your management. I just won't be able to transfer my own family members but I can make adjustments or additions on your behalf. I will transfer outside of the Find A Grave guidelines! I believe if you are kin-direct or not-the memorial belongs to you before me. Please include your contributor ID number with your transfer requests.

As a child, I was always fascinated by cemeteries and walking along the gravestones to read the inscriptions. To this day, I have such a great interest in the people who have walked this earth before me. I believe that these headstones are so much more than a plot in a cemetery; these were people just like us with lives be they long or short that were filled with dreams and goals and passions. Every memorial I've created has been given as much respect as possible. If information is missing, it's only because it was not available to me. I scour birth, marriage, death, and census records and resort to family trees. Please kindly inform me of additional information for these memorials and I will be most happy to add it. Also, do not hesitate to send me biographies or obituaries (with proper citations) as I will be happy to add them and give you credit.

Feel free to use any of the grave photos I have taken for anything you like. Please just ask permission before using family photos. Most of these family photos are already on Ancestry.com.

Because I am a mother of two small children and a full-time author, it takes me a bit longer than before to process edits and respond to personal requests. Please be patient with me. I am no longer able to photograph cemeteries or do heavy research work, but am currently only maintaining memorials and processing edits.

May 2017: I completed entering transcriptions of graves in Old Rossorry Graveyard, Enniskillen, County Fermanaugh, Northern Ireland based on the transcriptions from "Old Rossorry Graveyard, Enniskillen" by Saeamas Mac Annaidh.
