I am retired and have looked for opportunities to fill my time by completing genealogy requests for my family and friends. I stumbled onto the Find a Grave Website as a result of my searching for old friends I knew in the Air Force. I have located over 140 former Air Force friends and, sadly, have discovered that several have passed away during the intervening years. I have been the beneficiary of other Find A Grave volunteers who have posted photos to the site. I thought I would join in and provide a service to others as well. Find-a-Grave courtesy suggests that you extend a "Thank You" to the person that fulfills your Photo Request for you or otherwise determines that no grave monument exists. After all, we are burning our own gas, using our own vehicle and taking time away from our other activities. Please be thoughtful enough to say, "Thank You." Before requesting a photo, please be sure to check to see if there have been PRIOR searches for the grave that have been unsuccessful. It is folly to search for a grave that has been searched for 3 or 4 times before without success.

You are welcome to use the photos I take unless I specifically label them as subject to copyright. If I manage a memorial of a relative of yours, I will gladly transfer it to you in accordance with Find-a-Grave policy.
