I started searching for my ancestors and living relatives, in 2011. I chose to have my family tree online, on Geni, to make it easier to connect with living realtives. Since then I have also started building a tree on WikiTree and FamilySearch to increase the chances of finding living relatives.
I have helped a lot of people whith their research, and I find it rewarding. To me the genealogy community is like the society at large should be: kind and eager to help one another.
I am Norwegian, but have a lot of relatives in America, and a few in Great Britain and The Netherlands.
