Thank you to those contributors, who have taken their time and kindly placed flowers on my husband, David's memorial. It is very much appreciated. He was the best part of the two of us on this site. Taking photos and walking many cemeteries with me, looking for our relatives and taking pictures for others who were looking for their family too. There are moments in life when you miss someone so much that you just want to pick them from your dreams and hug them for real.

I will no longer add newer obituaries to my memorials due to this message be listed on many funeral home websites in my area: "This obituary is protected against unauthorized reproduction or redistribution without the funeral home or family's consent".

I always try and remember when I create my memorials that everyone had family and enjoyed good and bad times even if I didn't know them. Someone cried and grieved over their loss but also remembered the memories they left behind for those still on this earth. Hopefully they felt loved and found love but most of all they lived.

Just a note that Easton Hospital moved out of the city of Easton, to Wilson Borough in 1930. So, if a person died in Easton Hospital in 1930 & after, they would have passed away in Wilson Borough. Please check the 1930 death records to verify whether it was Easton or Wilson, depending on the move.

Also, those passing away in the county home listed as Gracedale, died in Upper Nazareth Township.

The city of Bethlehem is divided between two counties, Northampton and Lehigh. The dividing line is Schoenersville Road.

Lehigh County, Pennsylvania, was created on March 6, 1812, from part of Northampton County.

I would kindly ask that death certificates or obituaries not be added to the photo section of the memorials we maintain. I add the older obituaries in the bio section. I will add parents or other information to the bio section as well if their burial location is unknown.

If you make edit suggestions, I do investigate every suggestion before accepting. I do not accept suggestions, where the only source is an ancestry tree and I do ask for documentation if I can't locate a record. I am just trying to be as accurate as possible after learning from past edit mistakes that were called to my attention. I do not link to unknown burial locations since this site is to provide the location of burial plots or graves, it defeats the purpose of this site.

I am currently working on cleaning with D/2 and resetting the gravestones I am able to manage in the old section at Forks Cemetery. My Stecher family is the driving force in my working there. I have been trying to update the memorials as I find records and merge duplicate ones especially in the older section.

I have completed a project at Old Union Cemetery in Upper Mount Bethel cleaning the old gravestones, updating the information on the gravestones with newer photos on Find A Grave. I listed the gravestones into an Upper & Lower Section by row on FG in the booklet I created. I have created an updated list from the one done there by the Atchleys in 1909. A copy of the booklet was given to the Marx Room of the Easton Library at the end of 2024. Many new ones were located and added to FG.

I also completed my late husband's Pysher lineage book in 2024, with its main concentration on his 4th great grandparents, Jacob & Anna Catharine Pysher's line. It starts with John Adam & Anna Barbara Beischer, who were the immigrants and one of their children, John Beischer, Jacob's father. Jacob's siblings are also listed but because of the length of the work are not listed to the present. A copy of the lineage book can also be found in the Marx Room of the Easton Library.

I will be happy to update any information if you send it through the edit function, with the exception of newer obituaries. If you find an error or correction needed to any of our memorials, please let me know so I can correct it through the edit system. If we added a photo to a memorial, you maintain and you would like it removed, please let me know and I will delete our photo. I do transfer memorials out of Find A Grave guidelines as long as they are not part of our family.
