I am from Palmerton, PA, and currently reside in Ligonier, PA.

d. Let me know how you are related and I'll try to respond promptly.
2. Promptly is a relative term. I'm 67 and retired now and hope to keep up with my notifications better than when I was on the road for work.
3. You have my permission to use photos that I have posted on FaG. Please read my captions! If I attribute the photo to someone else, or identify who is on the photo, please keep the whole caption with the photo if you re-post.
4. I am open to suggestions, corrections and additional information. A lot of things can go wrong in the relaying of information and recording of data.
5. I appreciate all who volunteer here on FaG!
6. I especially appreciate distant cousins who shared family history and lineage information. and spent time identifying (or attempting) photos of folks who were otherwise forgotten.
My dad was 10 when his dad died and he didn't remember much about him. I think my genealogy interest was kindled by my curiosity about this WW I veteran who died at a relatively young age from a mysterious condition. He was gassed during the war and the medical community was baffled by his illness. I started my research around 2005, 70 years after grandpa died. I was very fortunate to meet a couple of people who had known my grandfather and could share a few insights about him that many years after he died.
