A WORD OF ADVICE FOR ANYONE WHO TAKES PHOTOS OF GRAVE MARKERS AND HEADSTONES: If you have taken the time out of your day to photograph the headstone of someone who has passed, please also take the time to clean off the marker or stone, so that the words may be clearly read by those of us looking for information about a loved one. A soft-bristled brush can go a long way in this effort. Just keep it in your car for when you may need it. Thank you very much. -Pam

I'm a wife, mother, and grandmother. Over the past few years, I've become very interested in genealogy research and preserving the memories of loved ones who have passed away. My family tree is on Ancestry, and it's public, for anyone needing information. I thoroughly research my relatives. I don't just add names from another person's tree. Almost all of my tree profiles are a work in progress. But anyone is welcome to look at them.
