I am 7th generation from Watonwan County and some of my information is known first hand as I am related to most of the people from there. My grandmother. a centenarian, was a great story teller and I listened. My husband's family has also been in this area for about 150 years, some helped capture the Younger Brothers! This also extends into Blue Earth County and Brown County.

I have also done extensive research on the Stockholm Lutheran Church in Wright County, MN and other families from that same area. I have access to all records and am able to help those who are looking for Swedish ancestors who were in this area.

With that in mind, I have found that church records are a good source, but not always accurate. I also look at other documents to be sure.

I pride myself in having accurate memorials even if some information is missing. If there are any corrections, I would be happy to fix them. Changes must and will be verified. Please be kind when making suggestions. I may not be related to all I manage, but I care just the same.
