I now live back in the Cincinnati, OH area where my kids and their families call home, but we spent 15 years in wonderful Eastern North Carolina before our return to Cinci.
When I was young, my Aunt Marie R GAGEN, planted a seed. She was the one who kept the family tree. Every time we visited, the tree was discussed. As I got older, I continued the tree and the research. It was the main reason for my 1st NEC computer and genealogy program, ROOTS.
My primary family names are: LEINDECKER/LEYENDECKER, GAGEN, KARL, ANSBERRY, BROGAN, PODANY and HOOVER. From Pittsburgh, PA and Defiance, OH.
My wife's (now deceased) primary names are: PAUL, POTTER, PATE, BURKE and VOLIVA. Bonifay, Holmes County, FL.
I am now deep into DNA research.
