My husband and I survey cemeteries in Person county. We have surveyed 80% of those that the WPA did back in the 1930s. So if you're looking someone in Person county, please let me know. And as we always say.....keep having fun.

Henceforth, we will be removing names of living from submitted obits. It has been a mostly ignored suggestion from Findagrave for some time. Some of our current memorials may contain names of living and we will remove if brought to our attention. Also, for recent burials, I will not post any info until the actual burial takes place out of respect for the family.

We have recently taken over management of a large number of memorials created by fallen gravers. We will gladly transfer management of memorials of your family members, whether they are direct line or not. Cousins, aunts, uncles etc. We just ask that you be an "active" Findagrave member. Please ask for any transfers from the memorial that you wish to manage. Thank you.

Ken passed away on January 21, 2025 so I will be taking over management. Please be patient with suggested edits as I maneuver life without my soulmate. I will get around to them all as quickly as I can.

Additional note: Do not ask to have any additional information on a memorial that has been added by my husband to be removed unless you have a really good reason for it. He worked long and hard on a daily basis to provide additional details (census, birth, death, etc) for the descendants to have, especially those that don't have access to genealogy websites.
