I met Dwayne when I was 19 and lived in Roxboro NC back in 1974-75. I was originally from SC and moved to NC where my parents lived to nurse a broken heart from a broken engagement. Dwayne stepped in and with his 100 watt smile and kindness I was able to overcome my sadness. He was an awesome person and I will never forget him.
