I joined Find a Grave to leave ancestor information on a free website for my children, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and future generations. Find a Grave has been an invaluable resource for me.

After finding it difficult to locate my own female descendants I decided to add the maiden names of women to their Find a Grave memorials so that their descendants would be able to find them.

Many thanks to the volunteers who photograph monuments for those of us who live far away from where family members rest. I have been able to virtually visit and leave flowers for 5 generations of descendants.
