From Cresaptown, Maryland, Mr. Fadley is a great-grandfather, former firefighter, U.S. Army veteran, life member of Vietnam Veterans of America, and husband of Retired Master Sergeant Cynthia Bray, USMC.
His family biographies include The Martz Connection, the story of Cresaptown's Peter and Alice Wigger Martz and their progeny, and From Valley to Valley, the story of Abraham and Savilla Miller Fadeley and their children and grandchildren. Additionally, he authored The Root Cellar, a collection of biographies and stories relative to Eastern West Virginia, the Potomac Valley in Maryland and the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia. Additionally, he authored The Cresaptown Collection, biographies and stories about the people and places in and around Cresaptown, all paperback books available on Amazon and elsewhere.
His poetry and stories have been published in Western Maryland
in Allegany Magazine, Journal of The Alleghenies,
and Backbone Mountain Review.
