I have a graduate degree in history. Genealogy became what you might call my "history sideline". My formal educational background in history, especially having been formally taught how to properly conduct historical research, has proven invaluable to me in conducting genealogical research. In view of the kinds of historical research I have done over the years, both here in the U.S. and abroad, researching information for FAG Memorials is for me pretty much "kids' stuff".
