I started for working on it for fun in 2013 and it eventually became a hobby. While using Ancestry one day, I stumbled upon this website. I check memorials on here every couple days, and I also upload pictures of people. Sometimes I go to cemeteries with a family member to take pictures of headstones, or I'll find gravestone pictures online. Recently I've put in more effort to improve my research skills.

My ancestors came from all over the place. Many come from Kentucky (Jefferson, Henderson, Nelson, Warren, Spencer, Hardin, Grayson, Bourbon, Shelby, Woodford, Anderson, Montgomery, Whitley, and Laurel Counties). They also come from different states as well (Missouri, Illinois, Indiana, Tennessee, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, West Virginia, Texas, Virginia, Maryland, Georgia, North Carolina, Minnesota, Michigan, Ohio, New York, Vermont, Connecticut, and Massachusetts.), and ancestral countries include England, Ireland, Germany, Scotland, France, Sweden, Iceland, the Netherlands, Finland, Norway, and possibly a distant ancestor from Benin and Togo.
