I have photographed and created thousands of memorials by personally walking rows of graves in cemeteries throughout Marshall County and surrounding areas in Indiana, plus a few from Minnesota, Michigan, Illinois and Wisconsin. This took several years to say the least. Feel free to request any transfers, I would like to see someone care for them once I am eligible for my own memorial.
My armchair activities include searching Ancestry death certificates for local cemeteries to find unmarked graves. I also find graves with missing stones in the archives of Marshall County Historical Society (Indiana).
I also am interested in preserving and honoring our Civil War veterans. I have been researching common veteran names like Smith and Jones to leave some hints for possible descendants.

You can choose "not buried in a cemetery" and add a brief explanation in the bio or notes, like ashes scattered or pending burial. It will help anyone who might be looking for them or wants to connect them to family. Don't let them be lost forever, someone cares.
