I am a house call veterinarian and I take care of dogs and cats all over Los Angeles County. I provide preventive healthcare, routine medicine and when the time comes, gentle and compassionate home euthanasia.
In my spare time, I like to hike and I like to research my family tree. I've done a lot of legwork on ancestry.com, familysearch.org, findagrave.com and many other sites. Along the way, I've discovered the true value of obituaries and grave markers: they contain a lot of useful and interesting information, but they also give us an opportunity to pause, remember, reflect and wonder.
I became a volunteer photographer at findagrave.com to help other folks in their quests for keepsakes and their journeys for knowledge. Los Angeles has some pretty expansive cemeteries and I am happy to explore them for others that can't make the trip.
Forest Lawn Hollywood Hills is my main stomping ground. It's close to home and the photo requests almost always include a burial location, which makes my job a whole lot easier.
