I grew up outside the small town of Milltown, IN located in Crawford County, IN. I have a large extended family consisting of many cousins that span many generations. I was fortunate enough to have all my grandparents, 2 sets of great grandparents and many Uncles and Aunts. ALL of whom loved to tell stories and the history of our family, which I listened to with ears wide open.
In the cemetery where I will be buried, I will be 6 of 7 generations interred there. My Great Great Great Grandfather & Grandmother's graves are some of the oldest in the cemetery. Dating back to 1895 and 1886 respectively.
I served in the United States Air Force, stationed at Hickam AFB, HI from 1997-2001. It was a great honor to serve our wonderful country. I got to see some beautiful countries and made the most of my time during those years.
Since 2005 I have resided in Louisville, KY but make it a point to go home! Whether it for church or just a good old family meal.
I am one of the very few who takes an interest in our family history and I love to "explore" the cemeteries in person and virtually looking for graves.
