SPECIAL NOTE TO FIND A GRAVERS:
Many of the memorials I currently manage, I inherited. If you find a family member among these memorials I manage, please send me a message through the "Submit Edits" button, along with your memorial ID#, and an explanation on HOW you are related. It is my desire to connect these memorials to the family members who remember them. It is also my desire to connect everyone with their ancestors as well.
In addition, if you are submitting requests for changes to the memorial page, it is extremely helpful for you to attach an image to the memorial page, sourcing the reason for your request.
I started my quest 30 years ago, assisting my sister hunt down names in our family tree at our local library. Times have changed. Technology volunteers, and countless hours transcribing historical documents, has made it a lot easier, thank goodness. Every family, has those stories where "Did you know, that we were related to...?" I do too. It is my ambition, to find the answers to those long passed down stories. At the same time, I am assisting my extended family with documenting their family history as well.
FLOWERS: (If I have added a flower to a memorial, this means I am related.)
If it is a Yellow Rose, it would be through the maternal side of my family. Yellow Sunflower, I would be related through the paternal side. If it is a Blue Forget Me Not, it would be through my husband.
