I am a retired/disabled Police Officer from the State of Texas. I hold a Master Peace Officer License in the State of Texas. I also have an Associate of Arts Degree from Frank Phillips College in Borger, Texas and a Bachelors of Science in Justice Administration from Wayland Baptist University in Plainview, Texas. I am a veteran, having served from 2003-2007 in the Texas State Guard. I was deployed to Hurricane Katrina, Hurricane Rita, and the Texas/Mexico Border.

I was born in Pampa, Texas on January 31, 1971 to Edwin Thomas "Tommy" Scott and Sandra Kay (Vick) Scott. I have only one sibling, Timothy Dewayne Scott who was born February 28, 1972. I married Deanna Marie (Fite) Scott on March 19, 1992 in Borger, Texas. We had one son, John David Scott who was born September 24, 1992.
