I post names as they appear in the obituary. Do not send me a name change if the funeral home lists his nickname; that is what will appear on the site. If initials are used, that is what will appear and will not be changed to include the name. I will not change a name that differs from what the obituary states. Have the funeral home issue a corrected obituary. This also applies to cemetery names and headstones.

When I post an obituary from a Funeral Home, I will not post a rewrite unless it is emailed directly to me from the Funeral Home. No Exceptions

When sending relatives' names to be added to an obituary, also include your source of information, or it will be denied. Posting undocumented information may/can result in a suspension. Documentation is always required. No verbal updates will be accepted.

If you send an edit without a source and I can't verify it, I'll deny it. If you don't want to take the time to verify your source, then simply don't send the edit.
