I love genealogy and the research to find out the "mystery" of families - I want to help people document the lives of their ancestors - findagrave is a way to do that!

I discovered Find a Grave through Ancestry, and discovered it as my new hobby. I want to be able to help others so I volunteer when I can to take photos of graves, especially at Rock Island National Cemetery as I drive by it every day when I go to work. I also want to photograph all of the little, small country cemeteries that are not totally photographed yet. I find it a peaceful time when I am out looking at graves trying to document any that do not have pictures. I have found it very helpful to see photos that others have posted of my ancestors.

I am most interested in the names - Bristol, Riley, Wigant, Hagens, Enyeart, Cox, Taets, Lievens. And I am also interested in the names along my husband's side for the benefit of my sons - Gentry, DeRoo, Clark and Downs.
