My original interest in this site was to find information about the cemetery listed as St. Johns Catholic Cemetery in Douglas County Kansas. It is also sometimes known as the Franklin Catholic Cemetery. The Knights of Columbus from St. John the Evangelist are working toward restoring this cemetery and to prepare it for future use, 100 years after its last use. If anyone has information on this cemetery I would love to hear from you.
Update: As of late 2025 the cemetery had been restored and is now a working cemetery. The name has changed to Saint Clare Catholic Cemetery and in September 2026 the cemetery had it first burial since 1918.
