Hello from Monticello, Kentucky! I'm somewhat new to genealogy having only started the journey after my mother's passing in 2018, but I've jumped in with both feet. Oh how I wish she were hear to see everything I've managed to find.

Recently I've begun a quest to update the Find A Grave memorials for Monticello, one cemetery at a time. Currently, I'm working diligently on taking pictures and updating the memorials for a variety of cemeteries across Wayne County, Kentucky and completing some of the work that was began by some of the great Find-A-Grave volunteers in this area.

My current areas of concentration in genealogy are those of my close family; the Castle, Kindrick (Kendrick), Richardson, Barnett, Abbott and Crawford families of Wayne and Pulaski counties in Kentucky, and the McCartney, Florea, and Grooms family of Adams and Brown counties in Ohio. I've also concentrated a good deal on my ex-husband's side; the Kennedy, Pyles, Dishman, Stinson and Hicks families of Wayne County, Kentucky.

It's my honor to be able to care for the memorials of the loved ones of others, and give them a name and face, but if I have the memorial of a close family member you would like to care for, feel free to let me know. It is not my goal to collect memorials, but to gather information and share the knowledge with future generations of genealogy buffs just like me.
