I am a life-long resident of Scott County, Arkansas, and a 27 year member of the Scott County Historical and Genealogical Society, with many of those years spent as a board member. PHOTO INFORMATION: The Society was recently given permission to add hundreds of photos to Scott County cemeteries on Findagrave. Please note that these photos were taken 20-25 years ago. The current state of the tombstone may not be as pictured. Also, practices of using chalk, etc., were not frowned upon then as they are now. We no longer use chalk to help with photos. We chose to use the photos, even if they had chalk applied. We currently do not have a volunteer who can go to cemeteries to photograph them.

I will add it to the bio with the profile number of the member requesting the change to aid in research purposes. If a source for the info is provided, I will be happy to add it. I have been asked in the past to put incorrect info on pages so this is my rule for the memorials I manage. If it's not sourced, it's a hint.
