My mother would line up old photos of our family on the table abt 1954 - to show me who/where we came from. I was about nine years old. I will never forget that. Most of those photo's and old tin types got away over time, but I remember my mothers interest and eventually gave me the drive to keep looking...
I've collected a few old books and documents, If their signed I try to add them to the gravestones of the people that owned and signed them.
I thought it would be interesting for anyone searching these folks to see something they actually had in their hands at one time. As I like to see something my own relatives or ancestors had.
