Hi! I am the Cemetery Office Manager at both Sunset Memorial Park and Ocean View Memory Gardens in Coos Bay, Oregon. I am currently working on adding everyone that was interred at Sunset Memorial Park to a file for us here at the cemetery and trying to add everyone to Find A Grave too.

As the family historian of my own family- I am very passionate about helping others with their families too.

I add documents to Memorials as I find them. That includes obituaries, death certificates etc. (Anything that shows proof of name, dates, relationships, and locations etc.) I know there are some Memorial Managers that throw a fit if those things are added to "their" memorials, but they need to remember that the memorials that we create and look after are FOR THE FAMILIES of those people. We are merely the caretakers and not "owners" of these Memorials. I can not begin to tell you how many people we have come into the cemetery that are ecstatic to be able to see the photos and documents that are on Find A Grave- as they would never have been able to see them if they hadn't of been uploaded.
