Descendant of Giessner, Haynes, Knoch in northeastern Shasta County, and Parry, Hammans, Kidder, McFarlin in other parts of Shasta and Tehama Counties. I've been researching since 1997, when before my Grandmother Eva Ruth Haynes Giessner died, she asked me to take care of her history papers and photo albums. What a wonderful project it has been!
PS - Even though I just became a member of FINDAGRAVE, I have used it for years! What a wonderful tool and I so appreciate all the work so many have done with this platform.
