When requesting transfer of a memorial, I ask that you do a few things please:
1. Please send the request directly from the memorial you wish to manage, not via e-mail/message. This is the most expedient/accurate way for both me and you.
2. Please clearly state your relationship to the memorial you are requesting transferred.
3. Please always be courteous in your request. Rudeness or abruptness is the surest way to be ignored.
4. If you contact me and have your messages or replies turned off, I won't be able to assist you as I have no way to reach out to you with questions or clarifications.

When sending edit requests for memorials:
1. Please include documentation for all edits. It is a Find A Grave requirement and is most helpful in making sure data is accurate.
2. On the edit page of each memorial is a section where you can include a note to me regarding your suggested edit. A short note will often help clarify suggested edits especially in light of missing documentation.
3. If your suggested edit was not approved and you believe it should have been, please respectfully resubmit it with proper documentation and a note.
4. If you submitted an edit without proper documentation or a note and I'm unable to verify the edit , I will typically reject it also without a note.
6. Often information from different sources can be in conflict. Memorial managers make the decision on the one or ones they think is most accurate/plausible. You may or may not agree with a decision, but we ask for your understanding.
5. Please be/remain courteous throughout the edit process. Some edits may take a bit of back and forth until we get it right.
6. Rude or "snippy" comments are always bad policy and is the surest way to be ignored.
