Uncovering my family's genealogy is my mission. Family stories are an important legacy for our children, giving them inspiration and understanding of themselves.
My genealogical pursuits have taken me to Utah and the amazing SLC library to discover LDS ancestors and use the vast collection of books and microfilm records.
I traveled around Texas to research Czech ancestors and post-Confederacy emigrant ancestors from Georgia. I visited Massachusetts to visit graves and a museum housing personal artifacts from 1600's that belonged to my ancestors. I was raised in southern California where my ancestors arrived in covered wagons and settled San Bernardino. I've been to Ransburg, the site of a gold mine they once owned and worked themselves. Genealogy and family stories are a wonderful way to connect generations.
