Hello,

I began my own genealogy journey in 1997, inspired by my cousins Virginia (Tyler) Carpenter [Memorial ID: 41743311] and Joyce (Tyler) Kroeger [Memorial ID: 127740375]. They were both so generous in sharing their own research findings, photographs, stories, etc. I enjoyed meeting and corresponding with them and also visiting many, many wonderful cousins through our common connections. Joyce and I even set up four massive Tyler Reunions in Illinois (2001-2006) joining our two cousinly lines for the first time in over 100 years!

I took a break from the research in late 2006 and only in 2026 have I been making a more concerted effort once again. Although I have made some progress, the discoveries are not enough to consume my time in this endeavor. I'm keeping the fire alive by helping others mainly with grave marker photo requests in the Tucson and Marana, Arizona areas.

Sometimes I come upon a random grave and discover that it has not been documented or sometimes the person does not even have a memorial page. I'm very happy to transfer those pages I have created to a family member or someone who has more of a personal interest in the lineage.

My ancestral interests are mainly in the Tyler line, Skrentny line (almost all of them have NO interest in genealogy, if I'm being honest), Ueoka and Suenaga lines. Personal background: I'm a 20 year veteran of the USAF and Arizona Air National Guard having worked avionics on the F-16 Viper fighter jet at the flightline level (like working on an aircraft carrier deck). I'm a recently retired hospital pharmacist (my 2nd life career) and I occasionally dabble with my YouTube/Rumble channels covering plastic model building and aviation related videos/stories.

I'm a big lover of dogs and have had them in my adult life for over 25 years now.
