I am the daughter of Keith Ray and Marilyn Joy Warren Orem. My father was born in Braymer, Missouri. My mother was born in Palestine, Texas. They both died in Palestine, Texas. I am the mother of Alexis Brooke Fraser Hernandez and Kennedy Faith Hanson, both born in Palestine, Texas. I was born in Dallas and live in Palestine, Texas as of 2024.
Grandparents: Leslie Orville and Sylvia Ethel Lunsford Orem and L.B. "Buddy" and Thelma Mae Raines Warren.
My parents met and married in Dallas, Texas. We moved to Palestine, my mother's hometown, the summer I turned 10. I started the 5th grade at Westwood Elementary School, a school my mother had attended, then known as Four Pines. Having come from Euless and a nice, modern school, Midway Park, attending Westwood Elementary was somewhat of a culture shock to me. Moving to Palestine afforded me the opportunity to know and spend time with my grandparents, great grandmother's and other extended family.
I have spent many of my working years employeed in the sales department of the Palestine Herald Press.
I am interested to know any family history you might share with me.
