I noticed a lot of people were not included in a local cemetery. So, I decided to add a few... almost 11,000 names later.... I am still going.

the local history I have discovered is simply fascinating.

On Infant and young children headstones, I include them, if their family memorialize their birth and/or death on the stones, So will I.

Feel free to contact me if you are a family member of any memorial that I currently manage, I can and will easily transfer them.

I tend to focus on Newmarket, Durham and Lee

After doing this a few years.... I have figured out this....

One of my favorite things to find is a stone that is completely buried (an odd spot of no grass is a good clue).

I will spend some time and dig the stone out completely. I know a lot of times no relatives around because of the passing of the generations to take care of the stone.

I like the thought of the sunshine beaming on the stone again.... I tend to talk to them and wonder what their lives were like.

P.S.... I am prolific researcher..... So, sometimes other members have asked me to slow down.... I can't... Once I am down the rabbit-hole researching a family.... I have no idea where I will end up.... ha ha...
